We are Lynette and Heather, a mother and daughter team who are passionate about everything to do with play! Joining our team on occasion are Heather’s children Mr 5 and Miss 7 who often beg and fight over who will be trying out the ideas each week.
Both of us are actively involved in children’s education. Lynette is currently teaching in Primary schools by relieving half a year and part-time in a Year 0 classroom for the other half of the year. Heather has spent the last few years at home with her two children after teaching in a few local Primary schools before having her kids.
The Techspert
With her original training in IT, Heather changed careers and started teaching for several years before coming a mother. Although she loved teaching, she always wanted to be a mum. Her children quickly became her new passion and she loved her days filled with new experiences with her children.
Both her background in IT and teaching have come in handy with Easy Play Ideas. Heather looks after anything techy, from filming to our website.
She also executes the unique ideas and making projects!
The Idea Guru
Our very own mother to three grown up girls and grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren. Lynette is the ideas guru behind most of ideas, especially the really unique ones! She spends her time reading, researching and keeping up to date with the latest in everything play and education. Lynette particularly enjoys watching play summits and drawing inspiration and motivation from other like-minded experts.
Lynette often works tirelessly cutting and editing our video footage and proof-reading products for our readers. She also enjoys playing with our ideas herself to understand how it feels for children to use our ideas.
